In 1996 Andrew Wood’s life went wayward. A dapper Sommelier in London, he left it all behind, taking on an adventure that would twist the course of not only the next 3 years, but the rest of his life. Now a winemaker in Australia, Andrew approached us to create his premium range in the hope to take his brand in a new direction. We established three wines that would tell the story of those ‘WayWood years’ which played such an influential role in shaping the unique wines he makes today. From being burnt out in England and reinventing himself back to bare bones in Australia; taking his taste buds on a journey across several continents; to his lasting union to the lovely Lisa. Never the same twice, each vintage the labels unravel another detail of Andrew’s journey, forging their own wayward path.
The success of the project developed into a rebrand and update of WayWood’s original identity and packaging. His twisty holographic W is very, very Waywoody.
