Rebecca Trevitt ponders flowers and life way too much. Creator of Ponder Posy she’s an ever curious, avid collector, grower and arranger of nature, capturing its beautiful gentle chaos.
Our challenge was designing an identity that was just as gritty, organic, curious and varied as the posies she creates and mother nature itself.

Organic shapes of flowers, petals, seeds and leaves were used with a combination of unique colorplan papers to either compliment, or contrast with the creativity of Rebecca’s botanical work. The letterpressed, die cut tags dangle from her work like a petal or leaf in the process of gentle decay. The print functions as business cards, tags for her flower arrangements, and as a keepsake long after the inevitable occurs.

In 2017 Ponder Posy found itself a home amongst the heritage listed buildings of ‘The Strand’ in Adelaide’s Colonel Light Gardens. We worked with Rebecca to create some interesting signage she can use as a base for her creativity, and to work with the heritage building. We also went ahead and decided to name the teeny laneway that creeps beside her shop in her honour.
